age 85, of Brooktondale, NY
passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Oak Hill Manor Nursing Home, Ithaca,
NY.
Born March 8, 1927 in Brooktondale, NY she was the only child of the late Wilson B. and Cressie Leone Conrad Osmun. She was an Elementary School Teacher starting at a one room schoolhouse at Morris Chapel, transferring to Candor Central Schools and lastly at South Hill School in Ithaca, retiring in 1982. She is a 79 year member of Brooktondale Baptist Church.
Mrs. Raszmann is survived by her husband, Paul R. Raszmann; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Gessini and Sarah Louise Myers all of Brooktondale, NY; and daughter, Deborah Susan Payton of Malone, NY; grandchildren, Jared Paul Marion, Jessica Cressie MacDonald, Anna Marie Payton, John Paul Payton and Christopher Robert Payton; and three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor John Garner officiating. Private burial will be in Greensprings Natural Cemetery, Newfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tompkins County SPCA, and The Rescue Mission in Syracuse.
