Elma Marie Hull

ELMA MARIE HULL, age 65, of 203 Spring Street, Groton, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Hull was born in Ithaca, NY on April 30, 1941 a daughter of Mary Mason Schilling and the late David Schilling. She has been a long time area resident and was a member of the Groton Assembly of God Church. On September 27, 1959 she was married to Charles Hull at Virgil, NY. Elma was a loving and special wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Charles E. Hull of Groton; her mother, Mary Schilling of Richmond, VA; a son, David C. (Linda) Hull of Paulsboro, NJ; and three daughters, Mary Cathleen (Glenn) Baker of Freeville, Judith (Brian) June of Freeville and Christine M. Hull of Groton; her siblings, Douglas E. Schilling of Richmond, VA, Patricia Simpson of Richmond, VA, Linda (David) Nygren of Statesville, NC; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins. A sister, Sandra Bennett, a brother, David Schilling, and a grandchild, Kevin Michael June have predeceased her.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at the Groton Assembly of God Church with Elma’s Pastor, Rev. Sam Neno, officiating. Burial will follow in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Virgil, NY. Friends are invited to call Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Memorials are graciously directed to the Ithaca Breast Cancer Alliance, 100 West Seneca St., Ithaca, NY 14850.
