Eva M. Black, 78, of Plant City, FL passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her home in Plant City. Born December 29, 1929 in Cortland, NY, she was a daughter of the late Warren D. and Margaret Anna Halpert Barned.
Mrs. Black is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Black of Plant City, FL; her daughter, Susan Salce of Cortland, NY; grandchildren, Tina (Charles) Batsford, Joseph (Judy) Salce; five great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian (Robert) Bell of Auburn, NY; brothers, George (Arlene) Barned of Phoenix, NY and Charles (Alice) Barned of Cortland; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Barned in 1986 and sister in law, Mary Barned in 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2008 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 to2 pm prior to the service. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
