FANNIE S. (nee Robinson) MANLEY,
93, formerly of North Lansing, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Groton Nursing Facility.
Born February 18, 1912 in Conrad, PA, she was the daughter of the late Horace H. and Clara Stroup Robinson. She had been employed as a nurses aid at Scouten Nursing Home in Candor, NY and then went to Cornell, retiring in 1977.
Mrs. Manley is survived by her daughter and son in law, Ina and Kenneth Sutfin of Cortland, NY; granddaughter, Bonnie (Don) Scutt of Freeville, NY; grandson, Kenneth (Andrea) Sutfin, Jr. of Spencer, NY; great grandchildren, Chloe and David Scutt of Freeville, Ashton, Trevar and Justin Sutfin and Alex Shutt of Spencer, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Merrill C. Groats and her second husband, George Manley and also by five sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY on Saturday, September 24, 2005 from 10-11 a.m. Private funeral services will be held immediately following with Rev. Lewis E. Coffin officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
