Fayette Joann Mindlin,
age 88 of N. Palm Beach, FL passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Longview in Ithaca, NY after a very brief illness.
Born March 2, 1924 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Natalie Fenberg Katz and wife of the late Dr. Bernard Tom Mindlin who died in 2004. Faye taught Art at Etna Road Elementary School in Whitehall, OH for many years where a scholarship was established in her name by the school for deserving children.
Faye and Tom moved permanently to Florida in 1999.Faye is survived by her daughter, Mindy (Roy Levine) Mindlin of Ithaca, NY; sons, Michael J. (Elizabeth Kurila) Mindlin of St. Louis, MO and Matthew K. (Jacqueline) Mindlin of Jerusalem, Israel; grandchildren, Max Bernard Mindlin, age 17 and Megan Arlene Mindlin, age 13.
