FLORENCE IRENE CREVELLING, age 103, died peacefully On Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at the home of her granddaughter, Tracey, in Groton. Florence was born August 25, 1910 in Minnesota, a daughter of the late Karl and Olive Greener Stauffenecker. A long time area resident, Florence had worked at Whyte’s Nursery in Mecklenburg. Her husband, Donald H. Crevelling passed away Oct. 28, 1964. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, hunting, crocheting and ceramics.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Richard) Clark of Yellowstone, FL; grandchildren, Tracey (Bernie) Douka of Groton, Lorri (Robert) Taft of Skaneateles, Mary (Robert) DuFort of Davis, CA, , Debra (James) Hubbard of Aiken, SC, Donald (Sue) Clark of Groton and Kevin (Heather) Clark of Groton; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Genevieve “Babe” Carberry, Lydia Minea, Roscoe, Vernon, Charles and Donald Stauffenecker and a daughter, Joan Dawn Stevens Hatt.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, Oct. 26th at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sivers officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call Saturday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY
