FLOY MABLE ROSS,
age 101, formerly of Ellis Hollow Road Apartments died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005 at The Reconstruction Home, Ithaca, NY. Mrs. Ross was born July 20, 1903 at Mondovi, WI a daughter of the late Norman and Amelia Fleischauer Goss. She and her husband, Bert Ross who died April 21, 1957, were former residents of Bone Plain Rd., Freeville.
Survivors include her children, Derl Ross of Grahan, NC, Dorothy Utter of Ithaca, Wyneta Hart of Brooktondale, Veda Newhart of Freeville, Myona LaVancha of Graham, NC, Thea White of Brooktondale, Zola Fabbricatore of Buckhannon, WV and Evadnie Teeter of Venice, FL; thirty-seven grandchildren and many great and great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Vinnie Hayts and seven children, Harvey, William, Neil and Royce Ross, Ronald Goss, Zada Seaman and Florence Shultz.
Services will be held in the spring when burial can take place in Groton Rural Cemetery, Groton, NY. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to consider a memorial gift to the The Reconstruction Home, Activities Fund, 318 So. Albany St., Ithaca, NY 14850. Arrangements are entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
