Frances Lee Hammond

Frances Lee Hammond, 6/28/1940 - 5/12/2021. There is a new angel in heaven. Frances Lee Hammond passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home in Lansing, NY. She was 80 years old. Frances was born and raised in Richwood, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayden and Hazel (nee Morris) Hammond and brother Bill (Irene) Hammond. She is survived by her children, Shawn (Rick) Sample of New Carrollton, Maryland, Dawn (Rick) Kotowski of Lansing, NY, Sandy Mayes of Maryland, Bill (Carolyn) Mayes of Bryan Texas, and David Barton of Maryland; her grandchildren Candyce Kotowski of Cortland, NY and Drake Kotowski of Lansing, NY, Samantha (David) Lewis of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Ashley McMullin of Texas and Michelle Mayes of West Virginia.  She was a loving and devoted mother and friend to all, she will be forever loved and missed. There will be a memorial service at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Wounded Warriors.
