FRANCIS E. "FRANK" MAY
, age 53 of South Road, Brooktondale, NY died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, NY after a brief illness. Frank was born October 16, 1953 in Montour Falls, NY a son of the late Leon and Dorothy Mick May. Frank served in the US Navy as a Gunners Mate on the US Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1975 and lived in California before relocating to Brooktondale in 1982. Frank loved flowers and gardening and travel.
Survivors include his daughter, Dianne Deyo of Fabius and his son Jamey May of Cicero, NY; a brother, Gary L. (Joyce) May of Owego, NY two sisters, LaVada (Richard) DelConte and Barbara (Steve) Olsen; a half sister, Helen Hunsinger of Binghamton; a grandson, Aaron K. Deyo of Fabius; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Caroline Center Church with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Burial with military honors provided by members of the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Ritual Team will be in Caroline Center Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Memorials may be sent to the VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210.
