FRANK C. “Skip” MASSEY,
age 49, of 1480 Fairfield Road, Candor, NY passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY following a 3 month battle with cancer. Frank was born July 25, 1961 at Schroeppel, NY a son of James Rex and Gertrude Massey of Locke. Fondly known as “Skip”, he was a helper in a saw mill for many years.
Survivors include his parents, his loving wife, Charlotte Cornell Massey of Candor; his children, Michael (Cheri) Hines, Sr., Frederick (Angela) Hines, Lawrence (Amanda) Hines and George (Shannon) Hines,; siblings, Rose Massey, Elizabeth (Eric) Harris, Debra Haney, Larry Geeland, Jr., Jeanette Becker and Sonia (Bill) Fassett; 22 grandchildren including Brooke, Michael, Daymion and Devin Hines; nieces and nephews and a large extended family. He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn “Squirt” Massey and a sister, Kathaleen Massey.
Memorial services will be held at 11 Am, Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Perkins Funeral Home. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 Am Monday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends will be invited to a dish-to-pass reception following the service. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
