Gary E. Cole

Gary E. Cole, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2018 at Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Indiana. He was born on June 24, 1951 in Ithaca, a son of the late Harold E. and Jean G. Loson Cole.
Gary was graduated from Newfield High School. After graduation he went to work at NCR where he was employed for most of his career and later retired from Cornell University. He could be found on Saturday nights at Skyline raceway either watching or racing. Gary enjoyed classic cars and loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his companion of 32 years, Priscilla Slater; his sons Michael (Kathy) Cole, Mark (Kim) Meyer, Kevin (Amanda) Tillinghast; his daughter Jamie (Shane) Waterman; his sister Sharon (Gary) Reynolds; 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister, Linda Armstrong.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Perkins Funeral Home 55 W. Main St. Dryden NY from 9:00 to 11:00AM with a funeral service to begin at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield, NY.
