Geoffrey M. Potter

Geoffrey M. Potter, 66 of Harford passed away Monday, January 1, 2024.  He was born in Tallahassee, Florida on May 22, 1957 the son of the late Martin and Elaine VanNess Potter. Geoff served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.  He was a master craftsman and enjoyed helping others finish projects.  An avid NASCAR fan and hunter.  He owned and operated the Country Moose Antiques & Crafts in Richford with his wife. Geoff worked as a heat specialist at HEP Sales for many years.  He volunteered with Varna Volunteer Fire Department and the Varna Community Association.

Geoff is survived by his wife of 42 years Dawn Barnes Potter; their children: Mark (Melissa) Potter of Cortland, Timothy Potter of Groton, Valerie (Trevor) Suke of Freeville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings: Greg (Tina) Potter of Corning, Mari Potter of Newfield, Robert (Carol) Stone of Harford and many nieces and nephews.
