GEORGE QUINLAN FOX, age 17, of East Main Street, Dryden, New York died Thursday July 5, 2007 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. George was born June 13, 1990 in Ithaca, New York, son of Robin Fox and the late Eric Failing. George attended Dryden High School and planned to attend Ithaca College to study journalism and philosophy. George was known for his sharp wit, keen intellect, generosity toward others, and beautiful brown eyes which he described as a gift from God. George enjoyed writing, music, reading, and political debate. He enjoyed spending time with his many close friends and his family, and he willingly suffered through many family camping trips and events. George loved his mother’s strawberry rhubarb pie and had been working on his own culinary skills. He had recently mastered ramen noodles with the assistance of his dear friend, the endlessly patient Carly.
