GEORGE VIRGADAMO,
age 56, of Dryden, NY passed away Monday, Jan 4, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after becoming ill at work on Dec. 29. George was born June 11, 1953 in Newport, RI a son of the late Michael and Marjorie Woods Virgadamo. He was retired from NCR and recently had worked at Sturges Electronics Products in Dryden. George enjoyed tinkering, motorcycles and being at the ocean shore.
Survivors include his children, Tracie (Peter) Thomas of Tully, NY, Kelly (Ralph)Wentworth of Deltona, FL and Anthony (Kathryn) Virgadamo of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Amber, P.J., Jacquelyn, Christina and Isabella; siblings, James (Patty) Virgadamo, Edward (Patti) Virgadamo, Sandra Fernon, Marjorie (Mark) Youdell, Maria (Chris) Penn, Anna (Arthur) Goad and Judith Virgadamo; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, Jan 8 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Kinney officiating. Burial will be private at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 am Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are directed to the charity of one’s choice.
