Geraldine Thomas

GERALDINE THOMAS, 82 of 10 Decamp Rd., Locke, NY passed away

on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at her home.

Born March 21, 1925 at home in Ludlowville, NY, she was the youngest of three daughters to Wesley and Nina Mann Coon. Geraldine was employed by Smith Corona prior to her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the North Lansing Fireman’s Auxiliary where she was very involved with community activities; she was also a member of Hudson Fulton Dryden Chapter #250 O.E.S. and Amaranth.

Geraldine is survived by her son and daughter in law, Wayne and Kathleen Thomas of Groton, NY; daughter and son in law, Charmaine and Thomas Sullivan of Lansing, NY; Grandchildren, Cole, Jason and Sonya Thomas, Shannon McDermott and Kristi Lee Sullivan; great granddaughter Alyssa Thomas; niece, Lavonne and Laverne McKane and nephew, Wesley and Judy McDermott; great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Pierre. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters, Lillian McDermott and Evelyn Quick.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at North Lansing Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm, Monday at the funeral home where Eastern Star Services will be held at 7:45 pm.
