Gloria “Tiger” Jerome, age 77, of Freeville, NY passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Cayuga Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 1, 1937 in Endicott, NY she was a daughter of the late Grant W. and Dortha L. Stanton Bullock and wife of the late Gabriel P. Jerome, Sr. She had been employed with Ridley Book Bindery and Paige Book Bindery in Ithaca, NY. Gloria was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, especially all the new great grandchildren she was blessed with the past two years.
Gloria is survived by her four children, Penny Skiba, Gabriel P. Jerome, Jr. (Jean), John D. Jerome, and Joseph A. Jerome (Sandra); her sisters, Donna Fields and Carol Winters; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Joseph, Erin, Gabriel, Ron, Tania, Anthony and Randi; six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Deacon George Kozak officiating. Private burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Owego, NY. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
