GORDON W. DEIBLER, JR.,
a resident of Etna/ Freeville, NY and beloved husband of Doreen Deibler, passed away unexpectedly at the Sarasota Florida Memorial Hospital on November 7, 2009 at the age of 76. Gordon was born on October 11, 1933 in Elmira, New York, a son of the late Gordon W. Deibler, Sr. and Loretta Haupt Deibler.
Survivors include his wife, Doreen of Freeville; his children, Gordon (Renata) Deibler III of Phoenix, Arizona and Ricky (Ewelina) Deibler of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Tyler Sullivan, James Deibler, Zofia Deibler, Gordon Deibler IV, Darci Deibler, Todd Bowen, Cheyenne Deibler and Justin Deibler; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two brothers, Melvin (MaryAnn) Deibler and David (Roxanne) Deibler; a sister, Ruth (James) Stine; a daughter-in-law, Mary Deibler and a brother-in-law, Jack Bacon. He was predeceased by a son, David Deibler and his sister Laura Bacon.
A memorial service will be held a 1 PM Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Dryden Baptist Church, 138 Virgil Road, Dryden, New York with Reverend Ronald Miller officiating.
