Grace Sanford

GRACE SANFORD, age 98, of Woodsedge, Lansing, NY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, NY after a brief illness. Mrs. Sanford was born October 6th, 1907 at Union Grove, NY a daughter of the late Frank and Cassie Avery Storck. She was the widow of Moody D. Sanford who passed away June 17, 1985. She had been employed years ago at Crescent Corset Company, Cortland, NY. She was a devoted member of the New Testament Church of Peruville. Grace was a lovely and devoted woman who was committed to her church and her family. Many friends and relatives will miss her.

Survivors include her daughter, Lois Kinney of McLean; her sons, Moody R. Sanford of McLean and Maurice (Dorita) Sanford of Groton; a sister, Gladys Douglas of Moravia; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11 AM Monday, November 28th, 2005 at the New Testament Church of Peruville with Pastors John Iler and Bruce Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 3 to 5 PM Sunday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
