HAROLD PHILIP OVERBAUGH, age 69, of Springtown, Texas and formerly

of Dryden, NY died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013. Harold was born April 10, 1944 in Cortland, NY a son of the late Philip and Jennie Carpenter Overbaugh. He attended Dryden High School and served in the US Army from 1962 to 1968. Harold was employed at G&L Trucking prior to relocating to Texas and being employed by Fort Worth Carriers since August 5, 1995. He was

a member of the National VFW and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on his pontoon boat. He will be greatly missed by a large and extended family.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Glover Overbaugh of Springtown; his children, Crystal (Shawn) Clark of Groton and Harold P. (Pamela) Overbaugh, II of Cortland; step-children, Kristie (Jason) Coonradt and Ricky (Salina) Harrison; siblings, Alan (Belle) Overbaugh, Ronnie (Grace) Overbaugh, Carol (Jim) Burns, Janice (Larry) Stewart and LuAnn (Brian) Flynn; grandchildren, Brianna and Nicolle McAdams and Garrett Clark;

step-grandchildren, Anna, Alston, Faith and Damian; a sister-in-law, Kelly J. Corgel Overbaugh and a brother-in-law, Fred Sheldon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, David Overbaugh and a sister, Connie Sheldon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, October 21st at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial with military honors presented by members of the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Ritual Team will be in Willow Glen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Monday at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Memorials are directed to a charity of one’s choice.
