HELEN M. SHEVALIER CORNELL, age 87, of Buffalo Road, Brooktondale, NY, passed away Monday, July 27 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born Feb. 20, 1928 in Romulus, NY a daughter of the late John and Edna Cranmer Shevalier.
Survivors include her children, Alfred (Chil Ye) Cornell, Jr., James Cornell, Howard (Bonnie) Cornell, Charlotte Massey, Mary Cornell and Jerry (Frances) Cornell, Sr.; her siblings, Nathan (Verble) Shevalier, Beverly Morgan, Arlene Doty and Rosella Sears; nineteen grandchildren; many great and great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred L. Cornell, Sr., siblings, John, Leon and Norman Shevalier and a son-in-law, Frank Massey and a daughter-in-law, Beverly Bentley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Charles Mulks Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 9 AM to the time of the funeral on Friday at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden.
