HELEN E. PRINCE,
95, of 136 Seven Mile Dr., Ithaca, NY passed away Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Hospicare Residence.
Born May 5, 1911 in Newark Valley, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ethel Cornell Elston and wife of the late Arthur A. Prince.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her daughters, Jeannette "Pat" (Warren) Underwood of Ithaca, NY, Nancy (Fred) Swader of Mifflinburg, PA, Thelma Prince Ridley of Ithaca, NY, Shirley E. Prince of Oswego, NY, Ann Prince-Rivkin (Larry) of Ganado, AZ; grandchildren, Karen Muckey, Joseph Prince, Keith and Gary Underwood, Mark Fidler, Julie Addy, Eric, Brian and Scott Ridley; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Richard Elston of FL, sisters, Grace Cutter and Gladys Young both of Ithaca, NY, Ethel Holley of AL and several nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her son, Stanley "Jack" Prince, sisters, Beatrice Sickmon, Thelma Machen, Mildred Mattle, Edna Haviland, Esther Bernhardt and Harriett Soyring.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. E. Carolyn Byrne officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Hill Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.
