HERMAN P. SPENCE, Jr.,
age 60, formerly of Peruville, Scott and Newfield, NY died Friday, April 8, 2005 at the Northwoods of Cortland, NY. Herman was born November 10, 1944 at Wythville, VA a son of Rosalie Keith Spence Russell of North Lansing and the late Herman Paul Spence, Sr. He was graduated from Newfield High School in the class of 1963 and was employed at Smith Corona as a time keeper prior to be disabled by Huntington’s Chorea Disease.
Survivors include his mother, Rosalie Russell of N. Lansing; his brothers, Jack (Marie) Spence of Newfield, Donald (Cheryl) Spence of Newfield, sisters, Darlene (David) Hall of Brooktondale, NY, Vickie (Clyde) Cornell of North Lansing and Bonnie (Donald) Case of South Carolina; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield. Rev. Vern E. Spencer will officiate. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
