Howard T. Day

November 23, 2020, Howard T. Day of Dryden, NY, at the age of 101 passed away quietly at home with family members by his side. Howard was born in Northfield, Minnesota on July 3, 1919, son of Marvin Howard and Cora L. Day. Howard moved to the Dryden, NY area approximately 1934 with his parents, 3 brothers, Marvin, Clifford, Stanley and his 3 sisters, Mildred, Ardella and Mary. He met Jane E. Smith whom he married May 29, 1948. Howard and Jane resided at 37 West Main St. in Dryden since 1959. Howard did a brief stint in the U.S. Army Air Corps. In the early '40's. His many occupations included foundry worker, pipeliner, carpenter, remodeler and roofer. He was an avid outdoorsman and an extremely accomplished fisherman, hunter and trapper. Howard is survived by his beloved wife, Jane; his brother, Stanley; his children, Barbara, Sandra, Wayne and Sherri; his 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. His strength, generous heart and quiet humon will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

There will be no memorial services in accordance with Howard's wishes.
