Irene Lucente

IRENE LUCENTE , age 85, of Willowbrook Manor, Dryden, NY and formerly of Uniondale, NY died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Northwoods of Cortland, NY. Mrs. Lucente was born December 28, 1918 in New York City a daughter of the late Walter and Sadie Plunkitt Vick. Her husband, James Lucente died February 10, 1969. She was retired from employment in the garment industry in New York. Irene relocated to upstate NY in July of 2001 to be near her son and daughter-in-law, James and Katherine Lucente of Dryden. Also surviving are her granddaughters, Patricia Ann Penning of Brunswick, ME and Jean Marie Maurer of Dillon, SC; one great-grandson, Samuel James Maurer; a sister, Ruth Blackwell of Yuba City, CA. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Kubinski officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
