J. BOYD EARLE,
79, of 4930 Chevalier Rd., Locke, NY passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, NY.
Born May 6, 1927 in Covington, PA, he was the son of the late Russell and Georgia Hildreth Earle. He was a final repairman at Smith Corona in Groton prior to his retirement in 1982. He also owned and operated a small family farm and did odd jobs for his neighbors. After retirement, he and his wife, Shirley spent winters in New Port Richey, FL.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Earle is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Boyles Earle of Locke, NY; four children, John B. (Esther) Earle of Penn Yan, NY, Crystal (Roger) Lacey of Marietta, NY, Debra (Marty) Shapiro of Newfield, NY and Sandra Earle of Ronks, PA; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, William (Nell) Earle; sisters, Kathryn Earle and Hildreth Robinson all of Spring Hill, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Private services for the family will be held at their convenience. There are no calling hours.
