JACK W. HUNTER,
age 57 of Freeville, N.Y., passed away on September 5th at Cayuga Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. Jack will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, always with a smile and a kind word. Jack spent much of his free time helping those in need, never turning anyone away. He loved animals, garage sales, car racing, hunting, and watching his son play guitar. Jack was employed in his younger years as Service Manager for Garage De France and then Cutting Motors. He has worked for the last 16 years for Tompkins County as a Records and Mail Manager.
Jack is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jennifer M. Hunter and a son, Jason C. Hunter, 17 years old and still at home, brothers William and Bob of Groton, N.Y., numerous nieces and nephews. Many in-laws, neighbors, friends and coworkers who truly loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 16, Tuesday at 7 PM at Bethel Grove Bible Church at 1763 Slaterville Rd, Ithaca N.Y. All are welcome to come celebrate Jack’s life.
