James G. Snowberger

James G. Snowberger , 84, of Groton, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He was born February 18, 1934 in Lemont, PA, the son of Clyde E. and Zipporah A. Williams Snowberger. He worked for Lucente Homes in Ithaca until his retirement in 1999.

He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Helen McConnell in 2000, infant son Mark E. and by his brother Charles C. Snowberger, April 2010. He was also predeceased by his close friend, Jean Bean.

Survivors include his son Kevin (Nancy) of Parrotsville,TN, daughters Robin (Eric) Ridley, Karen (Brian) Scott, both of Groton, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers John of Cortland, NY, Gene of Vero Beach, FL, one sister Linda (Joe) Rhodes of FL, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with services following at Groton Assembly of God, 701 South Main Street, Groton NY. Burial will be in Willow Glenn Cemetery, Dryden.
