JANE M. DAVIS, age 84, of Old Seventy-Six Road, Brooktondale, NY passed away, Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY. Jane was born May 2, 1927 in Newark Valley, NY, a daughter of the late Hugh and Sarah Payfer Stowell. On June 27, 1960 she was married to Robert J. Davis at Danby, NY. Jane was employed over the years as a waitress at various restaurants and clubs including The Old Seventy-Six. She enjoyed her family and going to yard sales.Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert J. Davis of Brooktondale, her son, David (Janet) Liddington of Richford, her daughter, Kim (Delmar) Cleveland of Brooktondale several grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
