JANE K. MULKS,
age 86 of 13 Ringwood Court So., Ithaca, NY passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 3, 2006. Mrs. Mulks was born April 20, 1920 in Ithaca a daughter of the late Thomas and Cecil Casey Keane. Jane was born as Cecilia Jane Keane and was known locally as Jane K. Mulks after her marriage to Bowne Mulks on March 19, 1938. Mr. Mulks passed away Nov. 29, 1998. She was employed at one time at Cornell University’s Olin Library and had worked at Ithaca Gun Co. During WW II.
Survivors include her son, Robert B. Mulks of San Luis Obispo, CA and her daughters, Patricia J. Wells of St. George, Utah, Julie Mulks Selman of Ithaca and Deborah J. Mulks of Brooktondale; sisters, Eleanor Matychak of Ithaca and Julia Lyon of California; a brother, Robert Keane of Canastota, NY; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 6th, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Caroline Grove Cemetery, Caroline. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday prior to the funeral. Memorials are directed to Hospicare, 172 East King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
