Janet Elizabeth Yeaton

Janet Elizabeth Yeaton, age 69, of Ithaca, NY passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Hospicare Residence.
Born December 2, 1947 in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Pauline LaRock Yeaton. Janet received her Bachelor's Degree from Rhode Island College and her Master's Degree from Cornell University. She had been employed in several retail positions including JC Penney, Tops Markets and Eckerds Drugs.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Robin M. Pape of Ithaca; her sons, Alexander V. (Allanna) Pape of Lansing, NY; son, David (Christine) Frederes of Rochester, NY and R.J.(Lisa) Frederes of Bloomington, IL; daughter, Shelley M. Pape of Ithaca, NY; grandchildren, Anthony and Lucas Frederes, Kyle Rappleye, Melissa A. Goad, Treavor Goad, Meika Johnson, Korbin and Karsen Pape, Hunter Frederes and Payton Harper; two great granddaughters, Addison Mae Anderson and Isabelle M. Rappleye; sisters, Susan (Mike)O'Connell of Medford, OR and Claire (Bob)Yeaton-Risley of Alameda, CA; close family friends whom Janet considered daughters, Kari-Sue Supek and Nicole Pagano; and three fur babies, Molly, Poppy and Lucy.
A celebration of her life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
