JAY DANIEL STEVENS, age 29, of Cortland, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Cortland. Jay was born July 17, 1985 in Cortland, a son of Robin Stevens, Sr. of McLean and the late Cindy Lou Bell Stevens. He was a graduate of Homer High School and had been employed at various jobs in and around Cortland. Jay was a NY Giants fan, a Yankee fan and enjoyed his family and friends.
Survivors include his father, Robin Stevens, Sr., of McLean; his siblings, Robin (Laura) Stevens, Jr., of Cortland, Sheila (Terrance Foster) Stevens of Natchez, MS, Jeffrey Stevens of Cortland, Christopher Stevens of Ithaca, Hunter, Abigail and Autumn Stevens of Mclean. He was known as uncle BoBo and Uncle Ju~Ju to Anthony ,Amaya, William, Elyssa, Lucian, Tatum, Dorian, and Ni-Ni. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by his mother, Cindy Lou Bell Stevens.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 29th at the Perkins Funeral Home with Pastor David Bell officiating. Burial will be delayed at Willow Glen cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
