Jeff C. Hollenbeck

Jeff C. Hollenbeck, age 50 of Ithaca, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca after a long illness.

Born September 3, 1970 in Ithaca, NY he was the son of the late Edmund and Lorraine Carpenter Hollenbeck. Jeff graduated Ithaca High School and attended TC3. He was employed with Pizza Hut for decades and then Sears Roebuck & Co. in Ithaca until they closed and transferred to Elmira. Jeff was a life-long drummer and played in various bands in the area. He was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. His family and his pets meant everything to him.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Honey Sanseverino Hollenbeck; children, Zackary Giampaolo, Christina Sanseverino and Myranda Hollenbeck of Newfield; his sister, Judith Weimer and brother, Brent Hollenbeck both of Ithaca.

A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on his 51st birthday, Friday, September 3, 2021 from 12-4 PM at Stewart Park in Ithaca. Please wear a concert or tie dye shirt or KC Chiefs gear, no formal attire please. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Tompkins County, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY  14850
