Jeffrey A. Lahart

Jeffrey A. LaHart, age 71 lifelong resident of Freeville, NY and most recently of Interlaken, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at home.

Jeff was born in Florida on February 12, 1951to the late Larry and Mary Mulks LaHart. Jeff was an auto mechanic by trade and loved working on cars. He was also an arborist, trimming and grafting trees. He loved playing chess, fishing and especially woodworking. He enjoyed the time spent with friends and family.

Jeff is survived by his sister, Lorraine LaHart of New Berlin, NY; nephews, Josh (Amber) Hall of Groton, NY, Jeremy (Steph) Hall of Moravia, NY, Austin (Stacey) Faucett of San Francisco, CA and Alex (Kayla) Faucett of Cortland, NY; great nieces; close loving friend and caregiver, George Stetson and other extended family.  In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his brother, Larry and nephew, Joey.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-3:30 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Dryden Veteran’s Memorial Home, 2272 Dryden Road (Route 13), Dryden, NY. In lieu of flowers, because of Jeff’s love of trees and woodworking, please plant a tree in his memory.
