Jennifer, more lovingly known as Jen or Jenny Thomas, of Dryden, NY, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, the age of 43. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W, Main St, Dryden, NY, from 11am - 1pm. Immediately following family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Dryden Lake. Jen was born June 16, 1978, the daughter of Edward B. Thomas and Patricia Ann Thomas. She was a graduate of TST BOCES in Ithaca, NY. Jen worked many years at the JM Murray Center of Cortland. She was a resident of the Racker Center since she was a young girl. Jen had a passion for crafting. She loved coffee, Build-a-Bears, horses, country music and socializing. Jen always went out of her way to show her love, respect, and compassion for others.
Jen is survived by her loving sister, Kathleen E Strickland (Wally Ketter), both of Candor, NY; nephews Michael E Dawson of Candor, NY, and Devon W Rose of Clear Water, FL; two great-nephews Sawyer and Cooper Dawson both of Candor,NY; her lifetime love, John of Cortland, NY; and friends who she held close to her heart Kathie Stein of Waterloo, NY, Nichole Kingston of Auburn, NY, and Kim Belden of Homer,NY, along with her Evergreen family who she loved so much.
Jen is predeceased by her father, Edward B Thomas and mother,Patricia Ann Thomas.
