Jessica Michelle Oxford

Jessica Michelle Oxford passed away in her home at 35 years of age on February 6, 2023. She was predeceased by her father, Gerald “Thee Ox” Oxford, and is survived by her mother, Angela Centini Oxford, her brother, Josh Oxford, and her domestic partner of a decade, Tushonia Eric Britton. Jess was a former French hornist, prog rock enthusiast, and a wickedly sarcastic and fiercely loyal friend. She was on track to graduate this spring with her AAS in Nursing and was currently working at Dryden Family Medicine as a phlebotomist. Independent and stubborn to a fault, Jess enjoyed orange juice, bonfires, Boggle, and felines. She was a force to be reckoned with in her life and has left us hollow in her absence. Calling hours will be held at Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden on Thursday, February 16 from 2-4pm. Donations can be made to the Ithaca SPCA in lieu of sending flowers.
