JOHN D. BECKMAN, age 75, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Freeville, NY passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville, NY.
He was born February 1, 1938 in Danville, Illinois a son of Henry and Josephine Johnson Beckman and was employed with the City of Ithaca prior to his retirement.
John is survived by his children, Dale Beckman, Sandy Hines, Timothy Beckman, Pamela Duckett, Wendy Dann and Daniel Beckman; 20 grandchildren; brothers, Marion Rybacki of CA, and Bobby Beckman; sister, Mary Francis; step brother, Charles House and step sister, Mildred House; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bernice M. Beckman in 2009 and daughter, Deborah Cornell and several siblings.
Friends may call from 4 – 6 pm, Monday, October 7, 2013 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY . Burial in Spencer, NY will be private at the convenience of the family.
