JOHN RICHARD DINGLER, 436 Honeypot Road, Candor NY – John Richard Dingler, 78, one of New York State’s finest musicians, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 6, 2007. John was a devoted Christian and father of ten. Well known for his fiddle playing, John performed with bands such as the Chaparelles, The Five Bad Habits, Sons of the Pioneers, and John Dingler and the Ding-A-Lings. He took pride in performing and entertained many communities and their patrons within Tompkins County and the surrounding areas.
