JOHN EDWARD DUFRESNE,
76, of McLean, died Friday, November 26, 2004 at Cortland Memorial Hospital.
Born August 14, 1928 in Fort Covington, NY he was a son of the late Lawrence E. and Ruth A. Hence Dufresne. On September 20, 1969 he married Jean Hobart at Cortland, NY. He was retired from Brewer-Tichenor Co. of Cortland.
Mr. Dufresne is survived by his wife, Jean M. Dufresne of McLean, NY; children, Janine Robinson of McLean, NY, Scott Dufresne of Yelm, WA, John A. Dufresne of Whittier, CA and Jeffrey Sprague of Virgil, NY; grandchildren, James Robinson of McLean, NY, Cheyanne Dufresne of Newfield, NY, Olivia and Elisabeth Sprague of Virgil, NY and Amber Dufresne of Redondo Beach, CA; brothers, Phillip Dufresne of FL, Eugene Dufresne of Mohawk, NY; sisters, Norma Parise of New Port Richey, FL, Dorothy Reome of Cortland, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Pauline Gratton, Helen Jacques and Barbara Tift.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St. Dryden, NY with Rev. Ina M. Warren officiating. Burial will follow at McLean Cemetery, McLean, NY. Friends may call from 10-12 prior to the service.
