Jon Briglio

Jon "Mike" Briglio, age 73, of Phelps Road, McGraw, NY went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at home following a lengthy illness.

Born September 7, 1939 in Staunton, VA he was the son of the late Frank and Katherine Markley Briglio. After graduation from Whitney Point, he joined the US Marine Corp in 1956 at the age of 17. Following his return, he met Mary Marsicovetere in 1961 and in 1963 they were married. Mike was an artist and designer, creating fixtures and working with local designers from several large retail stores in Manhattan. He and Mary also had their own business of discount referral services. He was a model airplane builder and was a member of the RC Airplane Club ?Cortland Aeromodeling Society."

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Briglio at home; his daughter, Jenien Passigli (Richard) of Homer, NY; son, Michael Briglio of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Rachel Passigli of Homer, NY and Isaac Briglio of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Rita Tidwell of Cave Springs, GA; brothers, Frank ?Paddy"Briglio (Paula) of Houma, LA and Edward Briglio (Pat) of Steinhatchee, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services officiated by Pastor Sam Neno of Groton Assembly of God Church, will be held at the convenience of the family.
