Jon David Sinnigen

Jon D. Sinnigen, 55, of Dryden passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2016. He was born on May 2, 1961 in Rome, NY, the son of Albert and Jeanette M. Sinnigen. Jon lived in Auburn, NY and in Dryden, NY where he graduated from Dryden Central School. He remained active in the community, being employed at various times at Clark's Food Market, Dryden Implement, and Dryden Lawn and Recreation and finally at the Town of Dryden Highway Department where he worked for more than 30 yrs and was employed at the time of his passing.
Jon settled in Virgil where he bought land and built his home. There he was married to Dena Erway and he experienced being a Dad to her children: Ashley Carr, now of Fairfield Vt., and her two brothers Justin Carr, Rochester, NY and Ryan Carr, Auburn, NY.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Thomas (Michelle) Sinnigen of Dryden, nephew Justin Sinnigen, and niece Sara Sinnigen, as well as Aunt Mary Gloss of Poultney, VT, his Uncles Jack and Bill Sinnigen, numerous cousins and his many good friends.
