Jonathan James Newbury
, 17, of 2 Palmer Dr., Dryden, NY passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, January 5, 2004 at Columbia Presbyterian Children’s Hospital.
Born May 31, 1986 in Ithaca, NY, he is the son of Ernest and Sharon Slade Newbury.
In addition to his parents of Dryden, Jonathan is survived by siblings, Hugh Newbury, Annette Newbury, Heide Newbury-Halliday, Michael daSilva, Laura Newbury, Timothy Arnold, Jennifer Beebe, Kenneth Nelson, Marc Newbury and Charli Lynn Newbury; maternal grandparents, Norma and Howard Slade; several aunts and uncles; thirteen nieces and nephews and two great nieces. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lily Ann Newbury.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2004 at Groton Assembly of God Church, 701 S. Main St., Groton, with Pastor Sam Neno and Pastor Steve Swartz officiating. Spring burial will be in Kelloggsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
