Joyce A. Hunt

JOYCE ANN HUNT, age 71, of Atwater Road, King ferry, NY passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20 at University Hospital after suffering a stroke on Jan. 31, 2013. Joyce was born May 4, 1941 in Freetown, NY a daughter of the late Gaius and Margaret Fitch Burdett. She was employed at Axiohm, Inc. in Ithaca and had previously worked at Smith Corona and in an Ice Cream Shop.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jenice Jones; grandchildren, Curtis (Mindy Soto) Jones and Jessica (Jereme Stowell) Jones; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lillian Stowell; siblings, Jane Gulini, Blanche Stevens, Tenni McCrean and Charles Carter; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Hunt.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David Robinson officiating. A reception will follow at the Dryden Fire Station.
