June Dawn (Eaton) Hulbert

June D. Hulbert, age 84 of Freeville, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26, 2024 at her home in Freeville, NY.

Born June 26, 1940 in Ithaca, NY she was the daughter of the late Carl and Anna Donahue Eaton and wife of the late Edward D. Hulbert who passed away in 2021. June loved working in customer service and was employed by various laundry services including Cornell Laundry and Colonial Cleaners. She enjoyed gardening, making flower boxes and taking care of animals, especially her dogs.

June is survived by her children, David Nichol (Deb), Richard Nichol and Lawanda Eaton Hulbert(J.R. Dickhaut); grandchildren, Christina Brotherton, Katie Catlin, Nicole Nichol, Hunter Nichol, Cody-Ryan Dickhaut, John-Robert Dickhaut, Dalton-Edward Dickhaut and Abby Nichol; great grandchildren, Luke Conklin, Hailey Caswell and Ducati Brotherton; her brother, Carl Eaton (Mary); nephews and niece, Jackie Eaton, James Eaton, Chad Hulbert, Kevin Hulbert and Kellie Hulbert. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Jim Donahue and a grandson, Richard Nichol II who passed away July 24, 1992.

Friends are invited to call from 4-6 pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY.  Private interment will be in the West Danby Cemetery.
