Keith Leonard Hunter

Keith L. Hunter, 80, of Newfield, NY passed away at home on July 7, 2022.  He was born on July 6, 1942 to Leonard E. and Helen Hunter.  Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by his brother, David Hunter.  He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Hunter; children, Janet Morse, Bryon Hunter, and Bruce (Joan) Hunter; grandchildren, Brittany Morse, Mallorie Morse, Gregory Hunter, Patrick Hunter and Zachary Hunter; sister, Sandra Brown; brother, Richard (Lucy) Hunter; his cat, Mr. Bubb; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He had been previously employed at the Fish Lab at Cornell. He loved fishing, hunting, the Giants, Uconn womens, and Syracuse teams. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tompkins County S.P.C.A.
