Alan J. Stickane (Al, Alfie)1958-2014 passed away Tuesday, July 8th after a

long illness. Al had a long career in mechanics. He worked at Caskey's

Garage for 33 years with a short hiatus at Dryden School Bus Garage. He

loved his work/job and the many relationships with customers. Alan was

known for his can-do spirit, charming personality and humor. His greatest

joy was working with the Ithaca Fire Department.

He loved motorcycling, antique cars and traveling, walking beaches. Alan grew up in the Jacksonville, NY area and graduated from Trumansburg High School in 1976.

Alan is survived by Marsha (his wife of 33 years); his mother, Elizabeth Woodams Stickane; his uncle, Edward Woodams; nephew, Devon Stickane; niece, Sara Stickane; and Luke (great nephew); and many many friends. He is predeceased by his father, Gordan Stickane and brother, David G. Stickane.

A gathering to celebrate Alan's life will be held on Sunday, July 20th

beginning at 2:30 pm at Myers Park (Pavilion D) in Lansing, NY.

Instead of flowers, Alan's wish is that all donations go to the IPFFA
