DRYDEN – Lawrence F. Hamilton, Sr.,
age 58 of Pleasant St., Dryden, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 1, 2010 at home. Born November 22, 1951 in the Town of Barton, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence Stanton and Mildred Hamilton. Larry had been a groundskeeper at Robert Treman State Park.
Larry is survived by his siblings, Marie McNulty of PA, Lillian Stetson of Dryden, Mikeel VanZile of McLean, Mary Hamilton of Freeville, Lester VanZile of McLean, Lisa Washburn of Freeville, Melvin VanZile of Freeville, Ronda Jones of Cortland, and Elbert John (EJ) Carpenter of Varna, Susan Benjamin, Val Delmage, Carol Hayes and Larry Wayne Stanton all of Dryden; his children, Melissa Hamilton of Dryden, Lawrence F. Hamilton, Jr. of Enfield, Bonnie Hamilton of Newfield, Tammie Hamilton, Mark Hamilton, and Rosa Hamilton all of Freeville, NY; 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Perkins Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery. Friends may call from 11- 12 prior to the service. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
