Lawrence G. Hill, Jr. , age 54, of Graham Road, Ithaca, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2015 at home, of natural causes.
Born August 31, 1961 in Ithaca, NY he was a son of Lorna Feint Hill Burns and the late Lawrence G. Hill. He attended Freeville and Dryden Schools. Larry was a carpenter and handyman and worked in various places. He moved to California and Oregon for a few years prior to returning to the Ithaca area.
In addition to his mother, Lorna F. Burns of Ithaca, NY; Larry is survived by his brothers, Michael Hill of Ithaca, NY, and Bonnie Hill of McDoughna, NY and Dan (Donna) Hill of Homer, NY; son, Russell Rosenthal of Calif.; daughter, Carrie Cole of Oregon; grandson, Damien; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Larry was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Rosenthal.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor David Quigley officiating. Friends may call from 10 – 11 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Willow Glen Cemetery.
