LINDA D. CORTRIGHT,
58, of Locke, NY, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2006.
Linda was born on March 25, 1948 in Cortland, NY, the daughter of the late Malcolm and Tilda Branch Munson.
Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tim Cortright, Sr.; her four children, Lisa Munson, Tim (Sandy) Cortright, Jr., Dan (Tammy) Cortright all of Locke, NY and Becky Holloway of Florida, S.I.L. Richard Holloway; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by her three siblings, Larry (Ann) Munson, Leslie (Vikki) Munson both of Ohio and her sister, Pat Guillen of California.
Linda was a very loving, caring woman who enjoyed crocheting, reading and collecting cookbooks, spending time with her beloved dogs, grandchildren and family. Linda was an easy woman to know, she loved her friends and talking to people. Linda made friends wherever she went, she will be missed.
At Linda’s request there will be no funeral or calling hours, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made by calling Tim or Sandy at (607) 898-3818. All donations made will be used to purchase new furniture for the SICU waiting room at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
