Lloyd Marshall French Sr.

Lloyd Marshall French Sr., 83, of Ithaca, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Cayuga Medical Center on Thursday, November 26, 2015. Born to Clarence and Evelyn French on July 19, 1932, Lloyd was raised in the Ithaca area where he attended and was graduated from Dryden High School. He was passionate about his family and friends, and enjoyed sharing his time and stories with those he held near. Lloyd spent his earlier years working with the West Danby Fire Department and successfully established and managed the Windy Haven Trailer Park in West Danby. He enjoyed taking long camping trips with his family, working on vehicles and perfecting various arts and crafts. Predeceased by the love of his life, Rosalind B. French on December 24, 2006, he is survived by his eight children, Donna Gotshall, of Milton, PA, Randy (Valerie) French of Ithaca, NY, Terry French of Ithaca NY, Lloyd "Rusty" (Dorothy) French Jr. of Newfield NY, Roxanne (Andy) Auble of Ithaca NY, Deborah Lynch of Newfield NY, Lee (Maureen) Anderson, of Ithaca, NY and Carletta Marsh of Asheboro NC; Five grandchildren, Randy (Karen) French of Locke, NY, Shelly (Ronnie) Caveney of Newfield, NY, Melissa Auble of Ithaca NY, Brandon (Alecia) Auble of Ithaca, NY and John Perry of Ithaca, NY, as well as other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
