LUCILLE V. WEEKS, 69,
of 681 Midline Rd., Freeville, NY passed away June 6, 2006 at her home. Born July 12, 1936 in Withsville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John Dean and Margaret Spence.
Mrs. Weeks is survived by her children, Nora L. (Carl) Hammond of St. Petersburg, FL, Dennis Beebe of Danby, NY, Glenn (Stacy) Beebe of Freeville, NY, Norman (Karen) Beebe of Ithaca, NY, and Franklin Grant of Ithaca, NY, Margaret Weeks, Kimberly Weeks, Alisha Weeks and Pamela Weeks all of Freeville, NY; 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Spence of Cortland, NY and Oscar Harold of Danby, NY; sister, Ruby Weaver of Newfield, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Ballard Spence and infant son, Kenneth Lyle Beebe.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 10, 2006 in the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. William Heines of the Seven Valley Christian Church of McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at Groton Rural Cemetery, Groton, NY. Friends may call from 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
